KGW participation in this year's Hanover Fair from 21st to 25th April 2008

Hannover Messe

Since 1993, our company has gained a reputable name as a manufacturer of tubular steel towers for wind power plants, delivered to various plant manufacturers both nationally and world-wide.

Also, KGW has become active in the offshore field. As an initial project, the tower for the first offshore wind power plant in the Baltic Sea was made by KGW.

Owing our long-time experience in general mechanical engineering and our comprehensive machine tools in operation, KGW is able and in the position to offer our customers total solutions, from design to production through to project management.

We would be pleased to introduce our portfolio to you in a personal talk at the fair and to discuss possibilities and potentials of a future cooperation.

We will be exhibiting at

Stand No. A53 in Hall 13 .

We look forward to your visit.

March 2007 - KGW now member of the German WILMS Group

Since 1st December 2006, the traditional company in Schwerin, now bearing the name KGW Schweriner Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH, has been a member of the German WILMS business group. All business activity has been continued independently, maintaining the same manufacturing profile with special emphasis on the production of tubular steel towers for wind power plants. The product range also involves machinery and equipment for the shipbuilding industry as well as general mechanical engineering products as job orders.

The first 3 months since the new foundation brought positive results, which makes the 103 employees optimistic with regard to a successful development of the company in future.

Company's new start makes optimistic for the future

On 1st December 2006 the traditional mechanical engineering company located in Schwerin was newly founded, now bearing the name KGW Schweriner Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH.
As was mutually agreed upon, the new company continues all business relationships of the insolvent KGW Schweriner Maschinenbau GmbH.
In beiderseitigem Einvernehmen führt die neue Firma die Geschäftsbeziehungen der insolventen KGW Schweriner Maschinenbau GmbH weiter.

KGW Schweriner Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH is a member of the Wilms Group with headquarters in Menden, Germany.

Our address, phone and fax numbers as well as e-mail addresses remain unchanged.

We want to take this opportunity to thank our customers and suppliers as well as other business partners for the very good cooperation and the trust you put in us, also during the difficult period we were facing and which is now behind, and want to express our hope for a continuation of our common, successful business activities.
